The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist takes a leading role in the improvement team and supports the Operations Manager and the production organization in managing the challenges of overseeing a large production operation. The focus will mainly be on production, but with strong cross-functional elements, particularly in Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain. You will be expected to initiate, facilitate, and collaborate with the organization to implement strategic plans and initiatives.
Your daily responsibilities include
The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist uses Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to solve problems that have no simple solutions. Neways NAA focuses on high-mix, low-volume production, which brings unique dynamics and complexity. You will translate data into valuable information and implement improvements. You will work together with multiple Continuous Improvement colleagues and the broader organization to realize and sustain improvements.
- Initiating, guiding, and implementing improvement projects that drive and monitor the growth of Neways NAA.
- Supporting the development of NAA’s “strategic/operational” objectives.
- Guiding and supporting large improvement programs.
- Optimizing the current improvement structure within NAA.
- Implementing lean management methods (e.g., standard work for leaders, 6S, Kaizen workshops, value stream mapping, SMED).
- Training and coaching colleagues in Lean Production methods to support the achievement of goals.

- A completed technical or business-related bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Relevant work experience in a production environment and a completed Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is required, and Dutch is preferred.
