This is how you make impact as a CFT Buyer
As a Customer Focus Team Buyer, your challenge is to communicate with various suppliers within Neways Advanced Applications and ensure optimal procurement for the CF team. In this role, you are the point of contact for procurement-related matters. You serve as the central figure within the team, responsible for both operational and tactical procurement activities.
Your daily responsibilities include
As a CFT Buyer, you are part of the Customer Focus Team, which executes the NPI (New Product Introduction) process for our clients. These clients operate in the semiconductor and healthcare sectors, requiring complex PCBAs and modules. In our international high-tech, low-volume, high-mix production environment, you play a vital role connecting projects and procurement. You take the lead in the procurement process, ensuring timely availability of necessary products while focusing on delivery time, costs, and quality. Additionally, as a CFT Buyer, you act as the first escalation level from operations and share responsibility for procurement parameters in the ERP system. You report to the Procurement Manager and work closely with our Category Buyers.
Your tasks include:
- Specifying procurement needs and quality requirements
- Selecting and evaluating suppliers in coordination with Category Buyers
- Requesting and comparing quotations
- Maintaining a cost-price monitor for materials and resources
- Establishing target pricing
- Negotiating prices, delivery times, and quality standards
- Maintaining contact with suppliers and customers
- Occasionally placing urgent orders

Our requirements include:
- A completed bachelor’s degree, e.g., in Procurement, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Commercial Economics
- NEVI 1 / NEVI 2 certification or willingness to obtain it
- Affinity or experience with technical environments
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong communication and written skills in both Dutch and English
