As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are the driving force behind our production. You are the one who ensures that our products are manufactured in the most efficient way. By assessing the manufacturability of products, determining optimal production methods, and developing tooling and work instructions, you make a real difference. You guide new products (NPI) into manufacturing and ensure everything runs smoothly. Additionally, you are often found on the production floor, where you provide expert technical support to our operators. Your daily responsibilities include
- Assessing the manufacturability of innovative products and providing a professional estimate of production times and initial routing, enabling us to create accurate quotations for our customers;
- Preparing a streamlined production process that forms the foundation for a smooth and efficient workflow;
- Collaborating and aligning with passionate fellow engineers, each with their own area of expertise;
- Developing clear and practical work instructions for operators based on technical drawings and specifications;
- Actively working with prototype assemblers to optimize work instructions;
- Collaborating and coordinating with fellow engineers;
- Creating, maintaining, and improving machine programs (SMA) based on specifications;
- Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to achieve maximum efficiency, higher output, and shorter lead times;
- Proactively supporting production colleagues by providing advice and solutions regarding manufacturability, work instructions, production times, and tooling.

This is what you bring to the team
You are naturally strong in communication and know how to gather the right information. As a person, you are social, proactive, and enjoy working collaboratively. You work in a project-based and structured manner, with a good ability to oversee processes.
Additionally, we ask for:
- A Bachelor’s (HBO) degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering;
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience;
- Knowledge of production processes;
- Affinity with PCBs, components, capacitors, resistors, etc.;
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
