Here’s how you make an impact
As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of the HR field. You’ll interact with employees across all departments at Neways, from Production to Sales. This ensures a valuable learning experience and provides insight into the full range of HR processes.
You’ll be involved in various meetings and will have the opportunity to take on an HR project. We’re happy to work with you to define suitable internship assignments. Current topics within our HR department include Performance & Reward, Employee Development, and Sustainable Employability. There’s also plenty of room for your own ideas and creativity!
As an HR intern, you’ll work closely with the HR Manager and the HR Advisor, together you form the HR team at our Leeuwarden location. In addition, you’ll collaborate with HR departments from other Neways locations across the Netherlands.

A dynamic work environment and exposure to the broad scope of the HR field;
After a solid onboarding and support phase, you’ll be given more freedom to work independently;
A monthly internship allowance of €400 gross;
Additionally, A+O Metalektro offers an extra internship compensation of €30 gross per day. Please note: this additional compensation is subject to budget availability, and we cannot guarantee it.

You are an enthusiastic, curious and proactive intern;
You enjoy being the linking pin within the organization and are comfortable connection with people;
You are an HBO (bachelor’s level) student available for an internship of 5 or 10 months, starting at the beginning of the new academic year.
Your daily responsibilities includes

You will be involved in the entire Recruitment & Selection process; if there are open vacancies, you’ll have the opportunity to actively support this process;

You’ll contribute to Learning & Development initiatives, such as assisting with our Value & Behaviours program;

You’ll help manage personnel administration;

You’ll be involved in our sick leave process;

You’ll assist with Performance Management & Reward;
