This is how you make impact as an Operator
As an operator at Neways Nijmegen, you'll work in shifts in the cleanroom, ensuring smooth production flows, accurate quality and quantity, and performing maintenance.
In this role, you'll operate various production machines and monitor the production process, record and report deviations and quality issues, perform quality controls and SPC measurements, and record all relevant data in IT systems. You'll also instruct and train employees, identify machine defects and report them to the IT system, and always work in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
You'll be responsible for the maintenance and modifications of the machines, including performing adjustments, maintenance, monitoring performance, and taking corrective actions.

Knowledge:
Products, production process, and resources
SPC

ESD application
Skills:
Experience operating machinery or willingness to learn
Data entry via PC
Working with measuring equipment (e.g., microscope)

You are accurate, quality-conscious, and flexible
Education:
VMBO/MBO (pre-vocational secondary education) level
VAPRO-A/B (Professional Education) demonstrated experience as a process operator
Your daily responsibilities include:
General Responsibilities

Ensure a smooth production process and correct execution of the schedule.

Record data in shop floor systems and ensure effective shift handovers.

Stop the process in the event of deviations and take corrective action.

Work safely using PPE and adhering to 5S guidelines.
Authorities
-
Stopping the process in case of deviation.

Converting and adjusting machines.

Performing first- and second-line maintenance (molding / Trim & Form / sawing machines).
