As a Process Engineer, you are responsible for resolving process disruptions and continuously developing our production site in the field of process technology, ensuring we stay aligned with customer developments. Your focus is on process technology. You identify improvement opportunities and ensure the implementation of these improvements. This includes various placement (automated), soldering, and coating processes. Together with your colleague, you own the maintenance plan for all production equipment and maintain close contact with our various suppliers. This also includes contributing to the technological roadmap and requesting budgets for new investments.
As a Process Engineer, you are part of our production team and work closely with colleagues from the technical service department. In this role, you report to the Engineering Manager.

You are able to translate developments within your field into practical applications for our company, and you can easily relate to other disciplines such as production and logistics. You maintain continuous contact with the shop floor and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. You act as a technical sparring partner for engineers, both internally and externally. We expect a high level of drive, independence, and initiative. You are capable of building bridges, which requires a proactive attitude.
We also ask for:
A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Technology, or a comparable discipline.
Work experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Affinity with software.
Knowledge of Six Sigma and FMEA is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.

Your daily responsibilities include

Qualifying, validating, and inspecting processes and materials according to various international standards and/or customer requirements.

Ensuring timely and sufficient availability of production resources, with a focus on managing, identifying, and implementing process improvements.

Final responsibility for preventive and corrective maintenance.

Resolving process disruptions in our production processes.

Supporting the creation of machine programs.

Identifying recurring structural errors and anticipating them.

Writing and maintaining procedures, work instructions, and standards.

Performing statistical process analyses.

Documenting and writing machine work instructions.

Participating in new product introduction projects.
