QA Specialist

About Nostics
At Nostics, we’re building smarter, faster diagnostics for a healthier future. We are developing the world’s first clinical diagnostic platform powered by Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS), enabling rapid, label-free identification of bacteria directly from patient samples in under 10 minutes. Our first product, DUTI (Direct UTI Identification), targets urinary tract infections: one of the most common primary care presentations and a major driver of inappropriate antibiotic prescribing.
We are a growing startup in Amsterdam, now preparing for regulatory submission.
The Role
We are looking for a QA Specialist to run our day-to-day quality processes together with our QA lead. You make sure documents are correct, records do not stall and audit files are ready when needed.
The role offers room to grow: as you develop, you take on more responsibility, such as owning CAPA and leading internal audits.
Responsibilities
As QA Specialist, you will:
· Check, route and register documents in the eQMS
· Support and track nonconformances, deviations, CAPAs and change records
· Maintain training records and supplier quality files
· Co-audit in the internal audit programme and prepare audit files
· Act as key user of our eQMS and collect data for quality KPIs
Requirements
What we’d love you to bring:
· A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering or equivalent
· 2+ years in QA in a regulated environment (ISO 13485 preferred; ISO 9001 or GMP welcome)
· Hands-on eQMS experience
· Precise and structured, with the confidence to hold colleagues to a process
· Fluent English; Dutch is an asset
What we offer
· Room to grow, with coaching from an experienced QA lead
· Broad exposure to a full QMS in a company preparing for market
· A collaborative, science-driven team
· Competitive salary, 8% holiday allowance and 30 holidays
· Collective pension plan and a mobility allowance or free public transport card
