The role

• Work together in an interdisciplinary R&D and engineering team, to develop products from high-level system functional needs, to well-balanced cost-effective, robust and controlled hardware solutions;
• Taking the lead in the overall mechanical design of our unique measurement systems and photonic chip packages, including considerations from electrical and thermal design needs;
• Use of standardized parts, supplier selection and Design for Manufacturing (DfM) considerations;
• Contributing to the documentation and build-up of the overall product dossier;
• Verify design of new product with assemblers;
• Sustained engineering of mature products.
