Systems Engineer
Requirements
- A Master’s or higher degree in electrical, electronic or photonic engineering.
- Demonstrated competence in systems engineering.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
The following would be an advantage
- Experience with quantum optics would be an advantage.
- An understanding of quantum information theory would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Requirements management.
- Contribute to the classical systems architecture for quantum information processing systems.
- Decompose system requirements into subsystem and interface requirements.
- Balance the organizational, cost and technical interactions in complex systems.
- Develop system integration processes and coordinate system integration activities.
- Develop verification and validation test plans and coordinate system level test activities.
- Coordinate specialist teams to ensure that the subsystems they develop can be integrated into a system that meets requirements.
- Technical risk management.
- Product data and lifecycle management.
Location and Reporting
The role is based in Enschede. Some remote work is possible with the approval of your manager. The role reports to the Head of Research and Development.
